This month, we are celebrating the first anniversary of our October volunteer Serve initiative — 31 days where Freddie Mac employees and our nonprofit partners unite to give back and support the communities where we live and work.
Our volunteers are called the Freddie Mac Community Crew, and you may even see us in your neighborhood this month. If you do, please stop by and say hello — just don't be surprised if we hand you a rake, paintbrush, or hammer and invite you to join in!
October Serve is one of two signature volunteer programs we hold each year that offer employees from Los Angeles to New York a range of volunteer activities that support our important housing mission and our longstanding focus on improving financial literacy.
To all volunteers and nonprofits who make a difference every day we say, "Thank you!"
