Mortgage Rates: New Lows in New Year

Freddie Mac today released the results of its Primary Mortgage Market Survey.

The 30-year fixed mortgage is down to 3.73%, the lowest level since May 2013. A year ago, the rate was 4.51%.

So if you're in the market to buy, now might be a good time to lock in a rate. And, it could be a good time to refinance, too.
