We Can Do It! Raising Walls with Habitat NOVA

It was a day filled with women's empowerment and power tools for Freddie Mac's female leaders at the Habitat for Humanity of Northern Virginia's (Habitat NOVA) Women Build on March 20 in Alexandria, Virginia. Ten of Freddie Mac's finest – led by Jacqueline Welch, senior vice president, chief human resources officer and chief diversity officer, and Lauren Garren, vice president, Multifamily production and sales – turned our mission into action by helping build safe and affordable housing for a local family.

Freddie Mac is proud to be a longstanding partner with Habitat NOVA because our missions align around the mutual goal of making home possible. We have supported Habitat NOVA for more than 20 years, with over 13,000 hours in volunteer time, to help build affordable homes for families in our local community. By working together with our local partners like Habitat, we help strengthen communities and deepen our company's roots. It's a bond that makes Freddie Mac a better neighbor and a better company.
