Freddie Mac has been named one of the 2019 Best Companies for Multicultural Women by Working Mother magazine—an honor recognizing U.S. companies that create and use best practices in hiring, retaining, and promoting multicultural women.
This initiative recognizes organizations that have had success tackling the unique challenged faced by multicultural women in the workplace and moving multicultural women into professional and leadership positions. We are proud to be recognized as a company where women of color are actively recruited and encouraged to rise through the ranks. This is the fifth year that Freddie Mac has been recognized as a top company for multicultural women.
"I am excited to see the growing number of multicultural women represented at the manager-level," said Meredith Bodgas, Editor-in-Chief of Working Mother. "Our Best Companies continue to create policies and initiatives that are crucial to the success of multicultural women in the workforce and we hope that more organizations follow their example."
The Working Mother Research Institute has conducted the initiative since 2003, tracking corporations' progress in creating inclusive cultures that encourage multicultural women to join and advance their careers.
