One of the best features of the benefits offered here at Freddie Mac is the flexibility. Each year, Freddie Mac provides its employees FlexDollars to help pay for the benefits our employees select. These funds offset the cost of employee's medical, dental, vision, life insurance and vacation purchased.

Domestic Partner Benefits

We offer certain benefits to our employee's same-sex domestic partner. This means that an employee's domestic partner and children are eligible for most of the benefits for which a spouse is currently eligible. Benefits include Medical, Dental, Vision, Employee Assistance Program, Family Medical Leave, Sick Leave and Bereavement Leave.

• Medical Coverage: We offer several medical options, including two types of Point of Service plans (POS), a Consumer Driven Health Plan, an Out-of-Area (OOA) option, and two types of Health Maintenance Organizations for employees and eligible dependents.

• Prescription Drug Coverage: Our medical carriers administer coverage. We offer triple tier co-pay for our PPO and HMO style plans.

• Dental Coverage: Our plan provides for a wide variety of dental services, including preventative care, therapeutic care, restorative services and orthodontia for dependent children.

• Vision Coverage: Our plan provides coverage for eye exams, eyeglasses and contact lenses.
