Reach, Educate, and Counsel Consumers
- Refer your clients to our About Homeownership page, which contains helpful tools and resources they can use if they're exploring homeownership for the first time or searching for a solution to stay in their homes and avoid foreclosure. Also here they can find many useful links such as calculators, worksheets, videos, educational resources, a listing of foreclosure prevention workshops, and more.
- Refer your clients to our Avoiding Fraud page to help them learn how to identify and report mortgage fraud. – New
- Refer your service member clients to our Mortgage Relief Options for Service Members page if they are having financial difficulties, including making their mortgage payments. This page includes information on mortgage relief and workout options for service members whose mortgages are owned by Freddie Mac as well as names and links to organizations that assist service member families with a wide range of services.
