Laurence E. Hirsch has served as Chairman of Highlander Partners, L.P., a private equity firm, since April 2004. Mr. Hirsch served as Chief Executive Officer of Centex Corporation, a large homebuilder, from 1988 until his retirement in March 2004 and as its Chairman from 1991 until March 2004. He also serves as the Chairman of the Board of Directors of Eagle Materials Inc. In addition, he is Chairman of the Center for European Policy Analysis in Washington, D.C
