Anthony A. Williams is a Lecturer in Public Management at Harvard's Kennedy School of Government. Since January 2010, he has served as a Senior Fellow of the Government Practice at The Corporate Executive Board Company, and from January 2010 through December 2011, he served as the Executive Director of the Government Practice. Since September 2011, Mr. Williams has been affiliated with McKenna, Long & Aldridge LLP, a law firm. From May 2009 until September 2011, Mr. Williams was affiliated with the law firm Arent Fox LLP. Prior to this, Mr. Williams served as the Chief Executive Officer of Primum Public Realty Trust, beginning in January 2007. Mr. Williams served as the mayor of Washington, D.C. from 1999 to January 2007, and as its Chief Financial Officer from 1995 to 1998. He also served as Vice Chair of the Metropolitan Washington Council of Governments and as President of the National League of Cities. He was the first Chief Financial Officer for the U.S. Department of Agriculture. Over the years, he also served as the Deputy State Comptroller of Connecticut, the Executive Director of the Community Development Agency in St. Louis, and the Assistant Director of the Boston Redevelopment Authority. Mr. Williams also previously served as a director of Meruelo Maddux Properties, Inc. Mr. Williams also is a member of the Board of Trustees of the Calvert Sage Fund and of each fund comprising the Calvert Multiple Funds.
