Fair Competition

Anti-Competitive Activities

We recognize the importance of fair business competition and will conform our conduct to the requirements of the antitrust laws. The antitrust laws govern competitive conduct within the country’s free enterprise system. In general, these laws prohibit certain types of monopolistic behavior, activities designed to restrain trade, unfair methods of competition, deceptive acts or practices and other similar practices. The requirements of the antitrust laws are set out in Freddie Mac’s Antitrust Compliance Manual and other corporate policies.
