David is our business head, responsible for the success of Freddie Mac Multifamily. He leads our team of more than 500 employees who provide liquidity and stability to multifamily mortgage markets, support affordable rental housing, and build a sound operating business that has produced consistent economic returns at minimum risk for U.S. taxpayers. David was the architect for our successful securitization program featuring K-deals, and is a frequent spokesperson on the condition, challenges and future of multifamily housing in the United States.

John is our main voice to the origination market and defines the customer service culture at Freddie Mac Multifamily. He leads our production and sales team that purchases conventional multifamily mortgages, manages our Program Plus network of lenders, shapes our competitive position in the marketplace, works directly with lenders and borrowers on individual deals, and provides customer support and training. John has worked in commercial real estate since the 1980s.

Debby ensures that we finance high-quality loans while meeting customer needs. She manages teams steeped in commercial real estate who evaluate credit, underwrite loans and inspect properties before we purchase the resulting mortgages. This Prior-Approval approach has produced delinquency rates among the lowest in the industry while ensuring mortgage liquidity across economic environments. Debby’s signature has been enhancing our underwriting process to support our K-deal securitization program, reflecting her expertise in commercial origination and capital markets alike.

Mike is the chief operating officer of our business and long-time industry leader. His business operations and technology teams support the day-to-day functions of Freddie Mac Multifamily. These include management of our mortgage portfolio, technologies that enable loan processing, securitization and servicing, people and processes that purchase loans and arrange hand-offs to our securitization team, and relationships with mortgage servicers. Mike has championed a servicing standard for securitized loans that sets an industry benchmark.

Mitch is our main voice to the capital markets and manages our K-deal and other securitization programs. His team ensures competitive pricing for our loan purchases, structures our securities in guaranteed and non-guaranteed bonds, maintains liquidity in these securities, and markets our securities with broker-dealers and investors. Tapping Mitch’s deep background in capital markets, our K-deal program sets the industry standard for financing residential mortgage credit while protecting U.S. taxpayers from virtually all credit risk.

Kelly leads the credit and underwriting functions related to the securitization of our K-deals. With strong experience in commercial real estate, Kelly and her team perform the critical role of due diligence at a loan level, ensuring that our securities meet the standards of credit rating agencies and the expectations of our securities investors. The resulting loan approvals and structuring are integral to our ability to build high-quality mortgage securities that attract investment into multifamily housing markets.

Bill is the chief financial officer of Freddie Mac Multifamily, responsible for our accounting and financial reporting. Bill and his team partner with corporate and Multifamily stakeholders to provide integrated results and forecasts of our business, represent our performance in corporate financial statements, and report our progress to the Board of Directors and corporate senior management. Bill is a certified public accountant and holds the chartered financial analyst designation.

Kim leads our team that expands affordable rental housing to those most in financial need. The Targeted Affordable Housing business within Freddie Mac Multifamily involves coupling our permanent financing with subsidies provided by government entities for property development or operating costs. Combined, these financing vehicles support households with low or very low incomes. All this is made possible by Kim and his team sourcing loans, for both wholesale and retail transactions, with a dedicated network of lenders and borrowers that specialize in affordable rental housing.

Ed and his team set credit risk policies for our business, ensuring that Freddie Mac Multifamily continues to source a steady flow of high-quality loans while maintaining our competitiveness. His team conducts assessments on property value, physical risks and environmental risks for new loan purchases, oversees higher-risk transactions, and aligns our refinancing terms to reflect market conditions.

Robert and his team manage the securitization of our loan purchases. This includes packaging loans into individual K-deals, working with broker-dealers, credit rating agencies and mortgage servicers to bring these securities to market, and then selling these securities – guaranteed and non-guaranteed alike – to investors that purchase senior, mezzanine and subordinate bonds. Robert, a veteran of the commercial mortgage backed securities market, has been instrumental in developing new securities structures and other capital-market innovations for Freddie Mac Multifamily.

Steve's team manages the loan underwriting process for the Southeast region, working with Program Plus lenders, borrowers, and our production and sales staff, to source a steady flow of high-quality loans to Freddie Mac Multifamily. Over the years, Steve has played an integral role in creating process efficiencies for our customers, and re-orienting the underwriting model to produce loans for securitization, chiefly through our K-deal program.

Tim heads the team of multifamily lawyers who support the purchase and securitization of our loans. Tim and his team work directly with our lenders and borrowers on the contractual terms of new loan purchases. The Legal team also is responsible for ensuring compliance with securities law for our mortgage securities, and they provide strategic counsel to management on business and regulatory matters.

Victor manages our portfolios of multifamily mortgage debt outstanding, including our guaranteed portfolio and all multifamily agency and non-agency mortgage backed securities. This involves managing whole loans and securities while they are in our retained portfolio through the buy-hold-trade strategies. Victor and his team also manage the valuation, hedging and disposition of all multifamily retained portfolio assets, provide the business with a wide variety of analytics, manage capital allocations, and produce research papers on current trends in multifamily real estate and mortgage markets.

Leanne leads a team responsible for the operations of our servicing portfolio, ensuring sound business management and a responsive experience for customers. Her team manages our loan purchases and funding, investor reporting and remitting, the cash desk, records and data management, and operational close. Also within her scope: managing Seller-Servicer eligibility, performance and audit reviews, and the Multifamily Seller-Servicer Guide.

Lisa champions our employee culture in Freddie Mac Multifamily. She provides counsel on creating a culture that is performance-based, diverse, inclusive and innovative, all to attract and retain the best employees in the multifamily industry. In this role, she leads our recruiting function and partners with others to ensure that our employees have ready access to the best and most effective training.

Regional Team

The team is divided among four primary Seller regions, the Southeast, Northeast, Central and Western Regions. That expertise provides borrowers with a better experience through our collaboration with the Seller/Servicer during the quote and underwriting process to structure the deal.

Peter joined Freddie Mac Multifamily in 1998, with prior experience in the commercial mortgage banking industry.

Nashwa manages our Conventional Structured Transactions group, with a current book of business of $10BN. In addition, she is responsible for all negotiated transactions as well as purchase of seasoned pools of loans. She is also currently leading a team supporting the needs of our new Small Balance Loans (SBL) initiative. Nashwa joined Freddie Mac in 2006 and has over 25 years of commercial real estate lending experience in the secondary market and direct bank lending.
