I am very pleased to announce that as of November 14, 2011, Mitch Resnick will join Freddie Mac as Vice President, Multifamily Pricing, Costing and Capital Deployment, reporting directly to me.

I see this new role as pivotal to our organization, and I am confident that Mitch has the vast industry experience and leadership experience necessary to oversee this department. He will manage Multifamily pricing and capital deployment and take the lead in new issue K-deal marketing. More broadly, he will be integral in helping us achieve our vision of becoming the most valued multifamily capital provider that delivers the best customer experience. Another key responsibility of his will be to manage costing and analytics for all assets. Mitch will work very closely with Portfolio Management to track best execution in terms of funding and securitization opportunities and optimize our purchase activity. He will also work directly with Production and Underwriting to ensure we are able to provide the highest level of customer service. Aaron Dunn and Paul Kolling will report directly to Mitch.

Most recently, Mitch was Vice President, Real Estate Finance, at Goldman, Sachs & Company in New York. In this role he was the co-head of the Capital Markets area and managed many aspects of the securitization process.
