Michael Lipson

I'm pleased to announce that Roy Chun has joined Freddie Mac Multifamily as Asset Management Senior Director of Surveillance, reporting directly to me. In this role, Roy will monitor credit quality and performance of assets to provide greatest recovery to investors and superior service to borrowers, while ensuring compliance with government regulations and company policy. He will also monitor portfolio performance through review of Watch List, delinquency, and maturing loan reports as well as assigned risk rating classifications. Roger Blair, Chuck Matthews, and Gissou Rafiekian will now report to Roy.

With over 20 years in commercial real estate finance, Roy's expertise, particularly his many years in risk management and surveillance, will be very valuable to Multifamily Asset Management. He possesses broad structured finance knowledge and has extensive experience in analytics and direct risk assessment. I look forward to having Roy on our team

Roy comes to Freddie Mac from the Federal Deposit Insurance Corporation (FDIC), where he served as the Senior Capital Markets Specialist leading commercial real estate securitizations and overseeing contracts in support of the securitization program. Prior to his time at the FDIC, Roy was Managing Director at Standard & Poor's in the Global Structured Finance Surveillance Group. Roy earned his Bachelor of Science in Engineering Science and Applied Mathematics at the State University of New York at Stony Brook and his MBA in Finance at Baruch College of City University of New York.

Sincerely,
