Freddie Mac Multifamily Launching New Website to Replace MultiSuite on the Internet

March 2, 2012

We're Preparing to Launch a New Multifamily Website

In response to Seller/Servicer user experience research conducted last fall, Freddie Mac will be launching a newly redesigned website on March 12 that replaces the MultiSuite on the Internet® portal with a newly functionally organized FreddieMac.com site.

New Site Designed to Improve Your Customer Experience

The primary benefits of this redesigned site include:

  • Access to applications and content resources now organized by Seller/Servicer job function
  • New search functionality by resource name and within resource content
  • Ability to instantaneously filter a list of Resource Center references per job function area
  • A new Events Center for the latest training and event information and registration
  • A simplified user experience by integrating all Multifamily content within FreddieMac.com

Access Your Applications and Resources on Functional Pages by Your Job

In addition to now being able to locate all your applications and resources on one page based on one of four primary job functions, (1) originate and underwrite, (2) asset management, (3) investor reporting and (4) purchase; you will now have access to the latest on-screen filtering functionality within our Resource Center. As you type in a key word, only the resources containing that key word will remain visible on the page, helping you to quickly target the information you need.

Online Training and Event Registration Process with our Events Center

Our new Events Center will provide you with an easier way to learn about and register for upcoming training sessions or other Multifamily events. You will have access to a monthly list of all upcoming training and events, linking directly to the registration site for each one. The navigation improvements within the site will also now put some of our top News Center articles pertaining directly to your specific job function right at your fingertips.

No Changes Required to Your Access Credentials

You will continue to access all your applications and any designated secured content (now indicated by a padlock symbol) through the same MultiSuite authorization credentials you have used in the past. When you click on your application or content with a padlock, simply enter the same user name and password you have always used and you will have immediate access to whatever you need within the site. You will also do the same to continue to access the Multifamily Seller/Servicer Guide, published on All Regs.

Using Bookmarks to Access Applications and Former MultiSuite Pages after Launch

If you have already bookmarked previous applications pages within MultiSuite on the Internet, your bookmarks will continue to function normally. If you have bookmarked any other pages within MultiSuite on the Internet, effective March 12 you will be redirected to a message that will take you to the new Multifamily home page on FreddieMac.com, where you can use our new navigation and search capabilities to find the exact page you are looking for. Once you find it, you will probably want to set up a new bookmark for future reference.

Providing You with More Detailed Information on Our Site Launch

Prior to the official launch on March 12, we will be posting additional information with job aids and conducting two separate educational briefing webinars to ensure that you will easily be able to find and use all your current applications and job functional resources within the new site.
