2013 Seller/Servicer Conference – October 3 & 4 in Chicago, Illinois
We’re pleased to announce that Freddie Mac Multifamily will hold our Seller/Servicer Conference later this year. Now an annual event, the conference will continue to provide important business updates and is open to all staff of our Seller/Servicer networks. We’re giving you a heads-up now so you can save the dates on your calendar and plan to attend. Additional details about the program and an opportunity to register will be available this summer.

Reminder to Sellers to Register for Training in April 2013 – Package Compliance, Submission Best Practices, and Selling the Freddie Mac Execution
This year's Seller Training will be held this April in each of our Regions. Like last year's sessions, the 2013 training will provide updated guidance on how to submit a successful loan package that achieves quicker turnaround.
What is new this year: The April training sessions also feature information/guidance/tools on selling the Freddie Mac execution more effectively. We’ve provided additional details about the training program in our February 19 article.
We strongly encourage you to participate in your Region's session. However, you can register for a session in another Region if your Region's session date is not feasible for your schedule. Register now:
- McLean, VA (Southeast) – Wednesday, April 3
- Chicago, IL (Central) – Tuesday, April 9
- New York, NY (Northeast) – Tuesday, April 16
- Los Angeles, CA (Western) – Thursday, April 18
Each regional session will include the participation of John Cannon, Senior Vice President, Production, Sales & Marketing or Debby Jenkins, Vice President of Underwriting & Credit. Michael Lipson, Senior Vice President, Asset Management & Operations will give a presentation on how our Servicing Standards enhance the borrower experience. Mitch Resnick, Vice President of Multifamily Loan Pricing & Securitization will provide the latest update on our securitization program and defeasance.
Upcoming training: We are also planning a dedicated session about third party reports, including environmental reports and property condition reports. This session will be held later in the year for interested Sellers and their third party consultants. We will provide more information at a future date.
