Freddie Mac to Issue Second Quarter 2008 Financial Results on August 6, 2008

McLean, VA – Freddie Mac (NYSE: FRE) announced today that the company will release its second quarter 2008 financial results before the NYSE market open on Wednesday, August 6, 2008.

The company will hold a conference call at 10 a.m. Eastern Time on Wednesday, August 6, 2008 to discuss the company's results. Before the call, investors are encouraged to review the company's press release, the consolidated financial statements and core tables, the accompanying slide presentation and other earnings-related information to be used during the conference call.
