Freddie Mac is in Top 100 for Working Mothers
Working Mother magazine has once again named Freddie Mac to its list
of top "100
Best Companies for Working Mothers." Freddie Mac's innovative programs
and policies that help families achieve work/life balance placed us on the winners'
list for 2004. These include:
- A free, on-site health center where employees have access to preventative
care and other medical treatments
- Nearby backup child-care facility and full-day child care facility
- On-site, state-of-the-art fitness center
- Employee network groups sponsored by the company, which provides funding
to each group as well as staff, ideas and a place to meet
- Long-term-care insurance available to family members (including spouses,
children, parents and in-laws) of our staff and retirees at a reduced cost
- 12 weeks of maternity leave to new moms and six weeks of adoption leave,
plus $8,300 in adoption assistance.
