This 1-hour webinar is the first webinar in a two-part series that introduces Freddie Mac's Borrower Communication and Solicitation requirements in support of the Servicing Alignment Initiative. Part 1 discusses borrower contact and communication requirements. Collections and loss mitigation staff will learn about Freddie Mac's requirements for minimum collection efforts with delinquent borrowers, which include earlier and more frequent contact, collection techniques and achieving quality right party contact. This webinar includes updates to the requirements in response to the Consumer Financial Protection Bureau (CFPB) Mortgage Servicing final rules as related to contact and communication with delinquent borrowers.
