Mortgage Rates Survey Mobile App

Freddie Mac’s weekly Primary Mortgage Market Survey® (PMMS®) results are now available through a mobile app for iPhone/iPad, Android, and Blackberry devices.

Freddie Mac surveys lenders each week on the rates and points for their most popular 30-year fixed-rate, 15-year fixed-rate, 5/1 hybrid amortizing adjustable-rate, and 1-year amortizing adjustable-rate mortgage products.

The PMMS survey is conducted from Monday through Wednesday and the results are released every Thursday at 10 a.m. ET. Average rates and points (and margin for ARMs) for each product are reported for the nation and for five geographic regions. The PMMS results are published extensively in the media, used in several government agency reports, and many other industry-related publications.

The PMMS mobile app allows you to:

  • View national and regional mortgage rates from the weekly PMMS survey
  • Calculate estimated monthly principal and interest payments based on current rate
  • View historical trends on dynamic charts
  • Tweet the latest rates from the survey
