Many state, county and municipal government agencies, as well as many nonprofit corporations and other sources, offer secondary loan programs that qualify under Freddie Mac's Affordable Seconds® program in conjunction with Home Possible® Mortgages and other designated programs. If you are a broker, consult with your wholesalers to identify qualified sources for Affordable Seconds. In addition, The Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD) has a list of secondary financing sources that may provide this type of financing. HUD also provides the names and contact information for a limited number of approved non-profits that may also offer qualified affordable secondary financing.
