Home Affordable Modification Program Information and Servicing RemindersMarch 30, 2009, Single-Family Advisory
Home Affordable Modification Program Activity Reporting
Our March 11 Single-Family Seller/Servicer Guide (Guide) Bulletin provided details about the Home Affordable Modification program, including program activity reporting requirements found in Section C65.11 of the Guide.
As a reminder, all Servicers are required to track key program activity data in a Microsoft® Excel spreadsheet which we provide, and submit the completed spreadsheet to Freddie Mac on a weekly basis. The spreadsheet should be submitted to us at HMPModificationTracking@freddiemac.com by 12 p.m. (ET) each Monday for the prior week's activity. In addition, for months in which the last Business Day of the month falls on a day other than a Friday, Servicers must provide two updates for the previous week: one for the activity for the previous week to month end and another for the activity for the new month.
The spreadsheet is available when you access a secure Home Affordable Modification program Web link on our Home Affordable Modification program Web page. You will need your Mortgage Servicing Products ID to access the secure Web page. Please refer to Chapter C65 of the Guide for more detailed information about HMP reporting requirements.
