Loan Closing Advisor® Third-Party Originator (TPO) Sign-Up Checklist
If you're a mortgage lender that closes loans in your own name, but you’re not a Freddie Mac-approved seller, use this checklist to prepare for the Loan Closing Advisor® sign-up process.
Before you begin
For access to Loan Closing Advisor®, you'll need to have a Freddie Mac TPO number. Please click here and select the TPO option to secure a TPO number
If you’re not sure you have a TPO number, please contact Customer Support Contact Center (800-FREDDIE). Provide your company name and address so we can assist you promptly.
During the sign-up process
Please note: You must have a TPO number to complete the form.
The sign-up process should take you approximately 8-10 minutes. Complete the entire registration form in one session. If you exit midway through the process, your data will not be saved.
To complete your sign-up
|Required Forms. Fill out the Non-Seller Correspondent Registration form and review the Related Third Party Agreement.|
|Summary Page Review. Use the summary page to review all data entered and to make any needed changes. This is your last opportunity to make any changes to your submission. Please print this page for your records.|
|Confirmation. At the end of the sign-up process, you'll see confirmation of the submitted information. Retain a copy for your records.|
|Certification and Agreement. To complete the sign-up process, click either the "I Agree" or "I Decline" button. By selecting I Agree you are agreeing to be bound by the terms in the RTP Agreement for Loan Advisor Suite. If you do not agree to be bound by the RTP Agreement, select I Decline; however, we will not provide access to Loan Closing Advisor.|
Retain a copy of the registration form and the transmittal cover sheet, that contains your confirmation number, for your records.
Welcome to Loan Closing Advisor
Welcome Emails. After we've completed processing your paperwork, you'll receive a welcome email, and we'll send:
- Your Administrator a confirmation email that also includes the requested user IDs for your company.
- Every user in your organization an email containing their individual password and personal identification number.
