Uniform Collateral Data Portal Registration Begins Today; New Joint Support Center Available

Starting on June 27, 2011, the Uniform Collateral Data Portal^SM (UCDP^SM) will be available for submitting appraisal data files to Freddie Mac and Fannie Mae (the GSEs). To help you prepare to use the UCDP, today we are announcing the UCDP registration process. To learn more about the multistep process and register today, visit FreddieMac.com.

We’re also introducing the new joint UCDP Support Center. Effective today, the new joint UCDP Support Center (800-917-9291) is available to answer your questions related to registration and submitting appraisals to the UCDP.

As you prepare for the implementation of the UCDP, we also encourage you to:

• Review our recently updated UCDP Overview and Q&A which includes new Q&As related to the registration process.
• Determine how you plan to access the UCDP to submit appraisal data files.
• Prepare your appraisers to send the appraisal file in XML format.
