Customer Test Environment Availability

November 8, 2012

The Freddie Mac selling system customer test environment (CTE) is now available to help you prepare for the upcoming Uniform Loan Delivery Dataset (ULDD) requirements for loans with application received dates on or after August 1, 2012, that are delivered on or after November 26, 2012.

The CTE has been updated to include the Securities and Exchange Commission's Rule 15Ga-1 data points, as well as other requirements in the Appendix A Addendum, dated July 20, 2012. We encourage you to take advantage of the CTE to view the selling system purchase edit messages, and ensure that your systems and processes are running smoothly prior to the November 26, 2012, implementation. If you are using a vendor’s technology solution to import your data into the selling system, be sure to check our vendor page or contact your vendor directly to ask about the status of their software update.

By using an Application Received Date on or after August 1, 2012, with a settlement date on or after November 26, 2012, you can leverage the CTE for the following:

  • Test the following data points:
    • The SEC’s required data points: Sort ID 641.1 (Full Name) and Sort ID 641.2 (Party Role Type=”NotePayTo”)
    • Sort ID 2 (About Version Identifier)
  • View purchase edits that you may receive based upon the November 26, 2012, data requirements, including the SEC data points above and other minor updates communicated in the Appendix A Addendum.
  • View and test changes to the Loan Program Identifier (Sort ID 404), which has been updated to enable you to choose up to five different applicable loan program types. Please keep in mind that the loan will be evaluated against, and must meet, all applicable program requirements.

Please note that the CTE is a working environment. Freddie Mac testing is ongoing and we will periodically make updates to the environment as functionality issues are identified and resolved. If you have questions while you are testing in the CTE, please contact 800-FREDDIE and select option 3 for the selling system. CTE support is available from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m., ET, Monday – Friday.

If you have not already signed up, please visit the Single-Family Business News Subscription Center and subscribe to receive our Freddie Mac Selling System Technology Alert email messages. By subscribing, you will receive operational status messages for the ULDD selling system CTE.
