Freddie Mac to Stop Cash Purchase of 1/1 ARMs

Today we are announcing that effective as of December 1, 2012, the cash window will suspend the purchase of one-year CMT-indexed and LIBOR-indexed adjustable rate mortgages (ARMs). This change to our cash window pricing strategy is due to current market conditions regarding 1/1 ARMs. On and after December 1, 2012, Freddie Mac will no longer post prices for these products on the Freddie Mac selling system indefinitely.
