Freddie Mac and the ABA renew their commitment to expand mortgage business opportunities for today's bankers
More American Bankers Association (ABA) members today are taking part in the Freddie Mac/ABA Alliance. That's why the alliance renewal is a key step forward in continuing to offer more alliance participants special options for mortgage business advantages.
Now in its fourth year, the Freddie Mac/ABA Alliance is building on its success in bringing you core advantages as part of the renewed alliance agreement to expand your opportunities to reach more borrowers in today's market.
Alliance offerings give you more ways to grow your mortgage business
Through the alliance, ABA members who are Freddie Mac Seller/Servicers have access to a comprehensive set of options, including:
- Expanded mortgage products and offerings to reach new borrowers. Get alliance advantages on popular Freddie Mac products that'll help you reach more first-time and low- to moderate-income borrowers, as you make affordable lending a focus of your mortgage origination strategies.
- Access to mortgage portfolio management solutions. We offer mortgage portfolio strategy and sale solutions to help you manage your ongoing portfolio and investment strategies. Plus, you can take advantage of more competitive secondary market sale options for the mortgages you sell to Freddie Mac.
- Technology solutions to enhance your lending operations. Participating in the alliance offers you advantages when using innovative Loan Prospector® technology to streamline your origination process, and Mortgagebot with Loan Prospector [PDF [an error occurred while processing this directive]] to attract more borrowers seeking mortgage financing via the Internet.
- Special Alliance services to improve your operational strategies. Get additional mortgage servicing options with private-label subservicing; expanded opportunities to improve your FAS 140 reporting, quality control, special audits, and investor accounting; assistance with anti-predatory lending regulatory compliance; and access to REO management and disposition services.
- Customized training sessions for ABA members. Take part in comprehensive web-conference training sessions on a variety of topics throughout the year, exclusively for ABA members. Alliance participants also have new opportunities to earn scholarships to Freddie Mac's Campus Live training – instructor-led workshops for mortgage professionals held in cities nationwide.
