Freddie Mac co-sponsoring public service campaign about foreclosure avoidance

We remain committed to working with Servicers, lenders and the industry to develop solutions that preserve dreams and keep borrowers in homes they can afford and want to keep. Freddie Mac and 21 other members of the mortgage industry are co-sponsoring a national public service campaign developed by the Ad Council for NeighborWorks® America to encourage borrowers to call (888) 995-HOPE to learn about workout options from the Homeownership Preservation Foundation.

The TV, radio and print campaign informs borrowers that they have options if they go into default and should call their lender or a credit-counseling agency as soon as possible to pursue alternatives.
