Change in foreclosure and bankruptcy referralsIn response to increasing foreclosure volumes, Freddie Mac will be adding additional firms to several of our Designated Counsel states over the coming months. The expansion of the Designated Counsel Program began this May when we added three new designated counsel firms in the state of Texas. Last month, we announced the addition of two new Georgia firms to our Designated Counsel Program. The two new firms are Pendergast & Jones, P.C. and McCurdy & Candler, L.L.C. As of September 1, 2007 you will receive Designated Counsel credit on all new referrals to these firms.
