Improve your operational efficiencies with the selling system's custom reports

Have you ever needed loan information for use in another of your operational areas, only to find that you have to wait on someone to retrieve the information from the selling system? Have you ever wondered if there was an automated way to analyze loan characteristics such as how many of your loans are owner-occupied versus investor-owned?

You can reduce delays in accessing vital information and automate routine queries by creating customized reports in the selling system through exporting loan, contract level, and settlement/purchases data before or after settlement.

First Horizon Home Loans manager streamlines her workflow

Tina Grabeel, post-closing manager for First Horizon Home Loans in Irving, Texas, has been using custom reports for five months and has quickly leveraged the custom reports to streamline her workflow. "One of the reports we use pulls the special feature code for each loan. Instead of having to check each loan file to verify these codes, I can quickly run down the list to make sure all the loans are properly coded," shares Grabeel. "In addition to saving time, this helps to ensure that all the loans are billed correctly and keeps delivery and funding on time."

Create your own custom reports

  • Most reports take minutes to create, and you can export the data into multiple file formats, including Microsoft® Excel and comma delimited.
  • Once a customized report is saved, you can update the data on an as-needed basis.
  • You can request that limited access be given to accounting and reporting/servicing personnel who need to retrieve custom reports, thus eliminating key-person dependencies.

  • Check out our recorded web conference, Selling System Export and Create Custom Reports, designed to help you create standardized or custom reports to export. This session will walk you through the process of how to select specific data for export or to create ad hoc reports using data available in the selling system for loans or contracts.
