Revised FEMA Mandatory Purchase of Flood Insurance Guidelines now available onlineThe Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA) booklet, Mandatory Purchase of Flood Insurance Guidelines, better known in the mortgage industry as the 'Yellow Book', is now available online in FEMA's Information Resource Library. The guidelines can also be found on our disaster relief webpage. FEMA anticipates printed copies of the booklet will be available to order through the FEMA Distribution Center in early December. A notice will be posted on FEMA's website announcing when it is available. There will be no charge for the printed copy of the booklet. Please remember that the Yellow Book should be used as a reference tool. Loans sold to us or serviced for us must comply with the flood insurance requirements in the Freddie Mac Single-Family Seller/Servicer Guide.
