To help curb mortgage fraud and keep more families in their homes, Freddie Mac is reaching out to borrowers and homeowners through a short video dramatizing a common foreclosure scam.

The current increases in foreclosures prompt concerns about the increased incidence of foreclosure fraud where con artists trick delinquent borrowers out of the deeds to their homes. To address these concerns, we've created a two-minute video using professional actors to demonstrate to at-risk borrowers how con artists work.
