Expanded selling system capabilities enhance your Guarantor execution options

With our April 21 selling system enhancements, we introduced new selling system capabilities to allow you to deliver more of your loans to Freddie Mac through our Guarantor execution options in the selling system.

Our enhancements included:

  • Allowing new life cap flexibility for your ARMs sold through our Guarantor execution. With this enhancement, we added the capability for you to sell more ARM products in the selling system by expanding the range of life caps for ARMs sold under the WAC ARM Guarantor execution.
  • Adding the capability for you to sell mortgages under our fixed-rate Mini Guarantor execution in the selling system. With the addition of mini-pools, you can conveniently take advantage of our Guarantor sale path when you have fewer loans to pool.

In addition, we also implemented the previously announced third-party origination (TPO) special characteristic codes (SCCs) to help us further identify loans you sell to us. As announced in our February 20 Single-Family Seller/Servicer Guide (Guide) Bulletin [PDF 165K], beginning August 4 you will be required to further identify the loans you deliver to us.

The selling system enhancements now allow the use of the following new SCCs:

  • SCC 211 = Correspondent TPO Mortgage
  • SCC 212 = Mortgage Broker TPO Mortgage
